Our Manifesto for a Better Britain.
Our Manifesto for a Better Britain is the national manifesto of the British Unionist Party.
Through five core sections: Better Democracy, Better Opportunities, Better Care & Support, Better Immigration Policy and Better Industry, it offers a broad and substantial vision for a Better Britain that we can believe in and work together to build: Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales working together as One to build a better nation for all.

Our manifesto can be viewed in full as a PDF through the below link.
Our manifesto can be summarised in five points:

1. Better Democracy and Stronger Union
We support proportional representation at Westminster, a Unity Act removing internal tariffs/customs within the UK (e.g. the Irish Sea border) and for the failed devolution experiment (including Holyrood) to be abolished and replaced with genuine decentralisation of power to local government.

2. Better Opportunities for Britain's Youth
Young workers have been burdened with crippling student debt and shrinking opportunities. We support free higher education through attainment-based student grants and abolition of the Blair-era student loan system, significant expansion of apprenticeship schemes and a £15 per hour National Living Wage.

3. Better Care & Support for our Pensioners
We oppose Starmer's cruel cuts to Winter Fuel Allowance that will put many thousands of pensioners in a dangerous position this winter. Out-of-control NHS waiting lists must be cut through investment, tackling health tourism and the re-instatement of matrons and state-enrolled nurses to restore quality care.

4. Better Immigration Policy for our Society
Immigration has spiralled out of control under the establishment parties, often hitting record levels year-on-year. We support a freeze on non-essential immigration and significant investment in a fit-for-purporse border infrastructure.

5. Better Industry and Economic Development
Our service sector, gig economy provides few prospects for many. We must rebuild a serious, forward-looking industrial economy, investing in traditional industries like steel and shipbuilding while fuelling world-leading research in engineering, science and emergent sectors like renewables.
